The university of maine broke three world records when it unveiled a boat produced by its polymer 3d printer. the 3d printer can produce objects as long as 100 feet, and printed a 25 foot, 5,000. The 3d printer was able to build this 3d printed boat in just around 72 hours and all it took was the printer itself. the boat weighs around 5000 pounds and is around 25 feet in length. with this 3d printed boat, the university of maine advanced structures and composites center was able to get hold of three consecutive guinness book of world. The biggest 3d printer in the world has just printed a 25-foot, 5,000-pound boat, which is the largest object that has ever been printed.. the feat achieved by the university of maine’s advanced.
