Introduction yacht and marine vessels design award is a freestyle design competition open to for both conceptual and realized, power, sail and luxury yachts as well as super boats, and marine vessels from worldwide yacht builders, designers and refitters.. The third round of boat international's online design competition launches this weekend, in partnership with superyacht interiors company vedder.. the first round saw four studios tackle a tricky brief for a 60-80 metre motor yacht, which was ultimately won by studio vafiadis.the second round was won by vripack for its novel sailing yacht design.. for the third round, we're challenging three. The brief. superyacht type: power hull: monohull length: 60-80m how fast: slow and steady style: sleek and sexy mission: exploring the far reaches.. the studios were also asked to incorporate one of the following features in the design – disco deck, sub hangar, underwater room, "toys, toys, "toys" – and introduce an element from one of the following films: citizen kane; 2001: a space.
